Despite recreational cannabis being legalized in Minnesota back in 2023, it has taken time for residents to walk into a cannabis dispensary and buy actual cannabis flower. That changed on September 16, when Legacy Cannabis in Lincoln Park became Minnesota’s first off-reservation recreational cannabis dispensary. At 4:20 p.m., the ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marked a new era for adult-use cannabis in the state.
