Medical marijuana use would be permitted in some hotel rooms under Ontario’s proposed cannabis legislation, giving tourists and out-of-towners with an MMJ prescription a place to consume.
Recreational cannabis, on the other hand, would be permitted only in personal residences, including private outdoor areas such as porches, decks and yards, a spokesperson for the Ministry of the Attorney General told Marijuana Business Daily.
