\n<\/span>The Drug Enforcement Administration filed a brief saying it is fine with reopening the marijuana rescheduling hearing record to include a government report that\u2019s critical of the federal drug review process<\/span><\/a>\u2014but it doesn\u2019t want additional briefings on the matter, even as opponents filed a new brief seeking to further delay a decision by more broadly reopening testimony and document discovery.<\/span>

\n<\/span>South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley (R) issued a legal opinion finding that \u201cthe federal rescheduling of marijuana will likely have a negligible impact<\/span><\/a> on South Dakota\u2019s medical-marijuana program.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>A new study funded by the National Football League found that long-held anti-marijuana attitudes in sports leagues are \u201cevolving\u201d as social trends are \u201cdriving more openness to cannabis\u201d as an alternative to opioids<\/span><\/a> for treating athletes\u2019 pain\u2014but ongoing stigma is creating trust issues that make it harder for medical staff to do their jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n
