Following the 22-day assessment, which involved daily and weekly questionnaires, participants reported an average 12.7 percentage point decrease in daily alcohol use\u2014down from 32.9 percent at baseline to 20.1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was also a statistically significant effect of Study Product use on daily heavy alcohol consumption,\u201d the report says. Overall, \u201cthe predicted probability of consuming a high amount of alcohol (three or more drinks) decreased from 38 percent in the no-product phase to 25 percent during product use.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Overall, 72 percent of survey respondents said they agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, \u201cI was consuming less alcohol while drinking the Study Product.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_130386\" style=\"width: 655px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-130386\" class=\"wp-image-130386 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cannabiscultivatornews.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/MB-THC-Drink-Report-Less-Alc.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"645\" height=\"607\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-130386\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Via MoreBetter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Another 54 percent said using the cannabis-infused beverages led led to a decrease or significant decrease in \u201ctheir desire or craving for alcohol,\u201d and 49 percent said they\u2019d consider using the cannabinoid product they received as a \u201cregular replacement\u201d for alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>Further, 76 percent of participant endorsements of the infused drinks cited \u201cfeeling less or significantly less intoxicated compared to alcohol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The survey also inquired about other metrics, with one data point showing \u201cstatistically significant improvement\u201d in participants\u2019 sense wellbeing after incorporating the cannabis drinks. The average wellbeing score increased by 23 percent by the end of the study.<\/p>\n<p>On days when people used cannabis beverages, they additionally reported an average of an 11 percent decrease in pain, 18 percent reduction in stress and 7 percent longer sleep compared to non-use days.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors of the <a href=\"https:\/\/morebetter.ltd\/functional-beverage-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a> did not have editorial input or direct involvement in its administration, except supporting outreach efforts to identify potentially qualifying participants.
