With 1400 exhibitors (349 of whom were exhibiting for the first time), there was a lot to see. According to Sarah Wilson, VP of events and sales for MJBiz, the energy on the show floor was palpable, with deals being made, connections solidified, and a renewed sense of optimism for the future driving every conversation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/mjbizconference.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MJBizCon<\/a> 2024 was a resounding success, bringing the cannabis industry together in a way only face-to-face interactions can achieve, Wilson said. \u201cThe positive feedback from attendees and exhibitors speaks volumes, with over 60% of space already rebooked for 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A spirit of collaboration was also in the air, with several brands coming together for joint partnerships. Ricky Williams led a morning yoga session, which added an extra special touch of community. Additionally, Hawthorne sponsored an outdoor food truck filled with mingling attendees. As opposed to just speaking events and traditional networking, there were lots of new interactive ways to meet people at this year\u2019s MJBizCon.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-events-to-remember\">Events to Remember<\/h2>\n<p>Between the speakers and networking taking place at the actual conference and all the parties and events held outside the show, setting your agenda is nearly impossible. Here are a few events that welcomed cannabis businesses leaders in a variety of places\u2014from the golf course to the concert hall.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-vegas-classic-nbsp\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thevegasclassic24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Vegas Classic\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thevegasclassic24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"997\" height=\"785\" src=\"https:\/\/cannabiscultivatornews.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/VegasClassic.jpe\" alt=\"Vegas Classic \" class=\"wp-image-69908\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">PHOTO Courtesy of Vegas Classic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The first ever Vegas Classic was the perfect kickoff to MJBizCon. Taking place Monday, Dec. 2 at the legendary Las Vegas Country Club, it was the ultimate high-end networking event for the cannabis industry, seamlessly blending luxury, purpose and connection. Guests were treated to an unforgettable experience at the private country club just across the street from MJBizCon, with over 100 executives playing golf, 25+ brand activations on the course and around the clubhouse, including a live artist painting on Hemp canvas.\u00a0The Vlassic Team won first place in the scramble format with a score of -21. <\/p>\n<p>The day also featured The Vegas Classic $1,000,000 shootout with 5 players taking their shot at the $1,000,000 prize!\u00a0 The Vegas Classic\u00a0hosted premium brand activations and exciting on course\u00a0fundraising events, all with a sophisticated ambiance that celebrated the innovation and passion driving the cannabis industry forward. The second annual event took place Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort. Here are just a few brands in particular that caught our eye.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zamnesia.com\/us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 \u2013 ZAMNESIA<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zamnesia won \u201cRetail Cannabis Brand of the Year\u201d at the Emjays. It was their first time at MjBizCon, and their first\u00a0US trade show appearance since launching in the States in October.\u00a0They faced several hurdles to get there, including multiple flight delays, but the trip was well worth it. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalqueenseeds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2 \u2013 ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Royal Queen Seeds, based in the Netherlands, made a statement at this year\u2019s MJBizCon with their dedicated billboard advertisement right in front of the convention center. Their time in Vegas was well spent, as they took home a 2025 Emjay for Cultivation Company of the Year for the second year running. \u201cThank you to all our customers and the people who voted for us; we couldn\u2019t have won this prize without your support,\u201d said Royal Queen Seeds President Shai Ramsahai, who was also celebrated in <em>Cannabis Now<\/em> <em>Magazine<\/em> as a 40-Under-40 recipient. <\/p>\n<p>Not only did Royal Queen Seeds have a massive booth, but\u00a0their US\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.proofpoint.com\/v2\/url?u=https-3A__www.businesswire.com_news_home_20241015711530_en_Royal-2DQueen-2DSeeds-2Dand-2DTYSON-2D2.0-2DLaunch-2DLimited-2DEdition-2DJawbreaker-2DCollector-25E2-2580-2599s-2DBox&amp;d=DwMFaQ&amp;c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&amp;r=tNUI15S_GrckiimjnoaURtujZrE0K6M3i9s4nkXS7Ws&amp;m=cb1eoBZb4eoCAVFKKIH-mAaB5PIUkcZe2XPIGjx8lihrcNWdsDOKEN95B1J0rTAA&amp;s=eGPkNTDWWOGULqyrLPFm_KMojVEvIaHDfUrqyfRBPtQ&amp;e=\">cannabis seed collab partner<\/a>, Mike Tyson,\u00a0co-founder and chief brand officer of TYSON 2.0, visited the booth for a photo opp. \u201cThis year, we have shown the people how much potential there is for the homegrown market, and we are convinced that cannabis seeds are the future, so grow higher,\u201d Ramsahai added. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fohse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3 \u2013 FOHSE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LED lighting powerhouse Fohse had their largest exhibiting space ever at this year\u2019s MJBizCon. Set up in the cultivation zone, their booth included a lounge and networking area. Top products they were promoting included the A3i Pro. They were also presenting their new home grow tent created in collaboration with Cookies.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.advancednutrients.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4- ADVANCED NUTRIENTS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MJBizCon 2024 was a record-breaking event for Advanced Nutrients, outperforming their previous best year by 100 percent. During the conference, they launched their 8th-generation product line designed specifically for commercial-scale cultivation of ultra-premium cannabis. BigMike\u2019s infectious energy and passion was on full display as he engaged with cultivators of all experience levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ccell.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5 \u2013 CCELL<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bringing everyone together to learn and grow as an industry is what MjBizCon is all about, and they did not disappoint in 2024. \u201cThe week was an action-packed whirlwind of information and innovation, and we were excited to contribute to both,\u201d said Bruce Kennedy of CCELL. The leading vape tech brand unveiled their brand new CCELL 3.0 heating technology at the tradeshow and were blown away by the positive feedback from the cannabis community.
