\n<\/span>President Joe Biden said at the NAACP National Convention that his administration is \u201cmaking sure\u201d people are not incarcerated over marijuana possession<\/span><\/a>, while arguing that prior cannabis convictions should also be expunged.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) filed a bill to protect people from being denied federal employment or security clearances over past marijuana use.<\/span><\/a> It\u2019s called the Dismantling Outdated Obstacles and Barriers to Individual Employment (DOOBIE) Act.<\/span>
