\n<\/span>Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) vetoed a bill to restrict intoxicating hemp products.<\/span><\/a> Sources close to the governor have reportedly said he\u2019s hoping the hemp industry will help fund a campaign to defeat the marijuana legalization initiative on the November ballot.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A new poll found that Florida voters support the marijuana legalization initiative on the November ballot, 66 percent to 32 percent<\/span><\/a>\u2014with majorities of Democrats, Republicans and independents on board. The measure has more support in the survey than Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is campaigning against it.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>North Dakota marijuana activists announced that they have now collected more than half the valid signatures they need<\/span><\/a> to put a legalization initiative on the November ballot.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Nebraska activists say they need to collect another 30,000 signatures over the next month to qualify a pair of medical cannabis legalization initiatives<\/span><\/a> for the November ballot.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Rep. Gabe Amo (D-RI)<\/span><\/a> inserted a statement in the Congressional Record clarifying that he accidentally voted against an amendment to allow Department of Veterans Affairs doctors to recommend medical cannabis.<\/span>
