\n<\/span>The Department of Justice is seeking input on the \u201cunique economic impacts\u201d of its marijuana rescheduling proposal for the \u201cmultibillion dollar\u201d cannabis industry<\/span><\/a>\u2014including the tax relief that Schedule III will bring when the 280E provision no longer applies.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A judge granted marijuana businesses\u2019 request that a Wednesday hearing in a lawsuit seeking to block federal enforcement<\/span><\/a> against their in-state activities be available to the public via remote access.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA)\u2014who was the only Democrat to vote against a marijuana banking bill in committee\u2014said he supports the reform but has continued \u201cconcern\u201d<\/span><\/a> that as it gets \u201ccloser to getting over the finish line\u201d there are still no criminal justice reforms attached.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will respect voters\u2019 decision if they approve the marijuana legalization initiative on the November ballot<\/span><\/a>\u2014even though he is currently campaigning against it and the state\u2019s chief financial officer is arguing that a recent deadly car accident is an example of why voters should reject the reform.<\/span>
