\n<\/span>White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to say whether President Joe Biden supports rescheduling marijuana to Schedule III<\/span><\/a> as agencies in his administration have determined, saying he is \u201cgoing to let that review process continue.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>The Congressional Research Service said in a new report that it \u201cappears likely\u201d cannabis will be rescheduled<\/span><\/a>, though it reminded lawmakers that they can \u201cenact marijuana legislation before or after DEA acts\u201d to more fully \u201celiminate the gap\u201d between federal and state laws.<\/span>
