Mike Lee (R-UT) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), along with Rep. Cory Booker (D-NJ)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> discussed efforts to craft a deal on cannabis legislation, saying that the \u201cfailure to act now will especially hurt burgeoning businesses.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDaines\/status\/1605369185269317637\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> tweeted, \u201cThe failure to pass my bipartisan SAFE Banking Act means communities in Montana and across our country will remain vulnerable to crime where legal businesses are forced to operate in all-cash. This bill to promote public safety would have been well positioned to pass had it gone through the regular committee process\u2014as I called for more than a year ago. Our small businesses, law enforcement and communities deserve better.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/natsfert\/status\/1605580831417724928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sen.
