\n<\/span>The <\/span>Department of Justice<\/span><\/a> filed a motion to dismiss Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried\u2019s lawsuit that seeks to protect medical marijuana patients\u2019 gun rights, arguing it is too \u201cdangerous to trust\u201d cannabis consumers with firearms.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A new <\/span>Florida marijuana legalization initiative backed by Trulieve<\/span><\/a> would let existing medical cannabis companies sell to all adults over 21. The measure doesn\u2019t allow home cultivation. It allows\u2014but doesn\u2019t require\u2014additional businesses to be licensed.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Colorado psychedelics activists<\/span><\/a> said it\u2019s unlikely their legalization initiative will make the ballot as an alternative to another measure that has already qualified and which they plan to raise concerns about as November approaches.<\/span>
