\n<\/span>The <\/span>Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee<\/span><\/a> approved a marijuana banking bill\u2014clearing its way to floor action, which is expected in the coming days.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D)<\/span><\/a> reiterated that he wants lawmakers to pass a medical cannabis legalization bill in the final days of the legislative session this week, but that he\u2019s exploring potential executive actions if they fail to get it done.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Illinois lawmakers sent Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D)<\/span><\/a> a bill to make it so people can\u2019t be denied expungements or record sealing based on a positive marijuana test. But separate House-passed workplace protections legislation for cannabis consumers stalled in the Senate before the legislature adjourned.<\/span>

\n<\/span>An <\/span>Ohio Republican senator<\/span><\/a> who is sponsoring a marijuana legalization bill said it\u2019s going to be up to voters to enact the reform at the ballot box, because legislative leaders in his party won\u2019t even give the issue a hearing.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A poll found that <\/span>68 percent of North Carolina voters<\/span><\/a> support legalizing medical cannabis, with a plurality of 48 percent also backing broader recreational marijuana legalization.<\/span>
