\n<\/span>House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY)<\/span><\/a>\u2014whose federal marijuana legalization bill is set for a floor vote in Congress this week\u2014sent a joint fundraising email to the list of cannabis political action committee BOWL PAC.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D)<\/span><\/a> said that despite regulators\u2019 delay on voting to let medical cannabis dispensaries start selling recreational cannabis, the launch of sales is still only a \u201cmatter of weeks\u201d away. Regulators will meet again on April 11.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The <\/span>Colorado House Business Affairs & Labor Committee<\/span><\/a> rejected a bill that initially would have allowed medical cannabis use in the workplace\u2014even after amending it to merely create a task force to study employment protections for marijuana consumers.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Michigan officials<\/span><\/a> are distributing nearly $150 million in marijuana tax revenue to localities, public schools and a transportation fund. Meanwhile, regulators approved the state\u2019s first licensed\u00a0 cannabis consumption lounge.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Rhode Island Democratic congressional candidate <\/span>Michael Neary<\/span><\/a> was arrested in Ohio for possession of marijuana and menacing by stalking.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The House bill to <\/span>deschedule marijuana and fund programs to repair drug war harms<\/span><\/a> got four new cosponsors for a total of 114.<\/span>

\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Washington State<\/span><\/a> Gov. Jay Inslee (D) signed a bill setting requirements for how marijuana revenue will be appropriated. Separately, the state <\/span>\u00a0treasurer<\/span><\/a> authored an op-ed calling on Congress to pass cannabis banking legislation.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>South Dakota<\/span><\/a> Gov. Kristi Noem (R) vetoed a bill that would have automatically removed certain marijuana charges and convictions from criminal background checks.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>New Mexico<\/span><\/a> Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) <\/span>signed<\/span><\/a> intergovernmental cannabis agreements with two Pueblo tribes. She also <\/span>tweeted<\/span><\/a>, \u201cWe\u2019re moving New Mexico forward! We\u2019re using bold ideas to give New Mexicans a brighter future. By legalizing cannabis, we\u2019re expanding economic opportunities for communities around the state and creating a whole new revenue stream.\u201d And, she <\/span>tweeted<\/span><\/a>, \u201cWe legalized cannabis and with it, we\u2019re going to bring in $31 million in revenue in its first year alone. This means new opportunity for New Mexico!\u201d She also <\/span>tweeted<\/span><\/a>, \u201cA year ago I enacted legislation legalizing recreational cannabis in New Mexico. Sales start on Friday. That\u2019s it, that\u2019s the tweet.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>Vermont<\/span><\/a> Gov. Phil Scott (R) signed a bill setting marijuana licensing fees.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Kentucky<\/span><\/a> Gov. Andy Beshear (D) tweeted, \u201cIt\u2019s time for the General Assembly to legalize medicinal marijuana. The people of Kentucky strongly support joining the 37 other states that have done so.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>Hawaii<\/span><\/a> Gov. David Ige (D) said he is still opposed to legalizing marijuana.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Wisconsin<\/span><\/a> Gov. Tony Evers (D) pardoned more people for marijuana and other offenses.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Florida<\/span><\/a> Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried, currently the agriculture commissioner, <\/span>authored<\/span><\/a> an <\/span>op-ed<\/span><\/a> on the need to legalize marijuana.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Pennsylvania<\/span><\/a> Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro, currently the attorney general, tweeted, \u201cWe can cut costs, legalize recreational marijuana, and raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania. We just have to win in November.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Michigan<\/span><\/a> activists began collecting signatures for a proposed ballot measure to legalize psychedelics.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The <\/span>Tennessee<\/span><\/a> House Health Subcommittee approved a bill to create a framework for a medical cannabis program.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A <\/span>Missouri<\/span><\/a> representative said he\u2019s not sure if he will heed calls to add license caps to his marijuana legalization bill.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A <\/span>Rhode Island<\/span><\/a> senator who is sponsoring a marijuana legalization bill signaled that he\u2019s open to altering its expungement provisions to make them \u201cas automatic as Rhode Island law will allow.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>Tennessee<\/span><\/a> Democratic lawmakers criticized Republicans for considering legislation to crack down on delta-8 THC products.<\/span>
