\n<\/span>A new poll found that <\/span>61 percent of Wisconsin voters<\/span><\/a>\u2014including a majority of Republicans\u2014support legalizing marijuana. Gov. Tony Evers (D) and Democratic lawmakers have pushed for the reform only to be consistently blocked by GOP legislative leaders.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A new survey showed that <\/span>more Americans<\/span><\/a> think it\u2019d be good if people switched to marijuana and drank less alcohol than think the substance substitution would be bad.<\/span>

\n<\/span>White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Rahul Gupta<\/span><\/a> issued a statement outlining the Biden administration\u2019s drug strategy following the president\u2019s speech.<\/span>

Pritzker (D) tweeted, \u201cApplications for the next round of Restore, Reinvest, and Renew grants are due Tuesday. #R3 is a core tenet of Illinois\u2019 cannabis legalization framework, setting us apart from other states that have legalized. Funding community organizations is another step toward justice.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>Texas<\/span><\/a> Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O\u2019Rourke, a former congressman, pledged to legalize marijuana in his primary election victory speech.<\/span>
