\n<\/span>The <\/span>White House Office of Management and Budget<\/span><\/a> is being asked by the Competitive Enterprise Institute to mediate a marijuana finger-pointing dispute between the Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Health and Human Services where each agency says the other is responsible for a scientific review used in cannabis scheduling decisions.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A <\/span>Missouri Republican representative<\/span><\/a> filed a joint resolution to put marijuana legalization on the ballot for voters to decide in 2022. Separately, activists are collecting signatures for their own cannabis initiatives.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Activists in Kent, Ohio<\/span><\/a> proved that they collected enough signatures for a local marijuana decriminalization ballot measure after officials improperly invalidated petitions. Voters will now decide on the measure in 2022.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The <\/span>Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals<\/span><\/a> is considering a growing number of appeals of security clearance eligibility denial due to marijuana use.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR)<\/span><\/a> criticized President Joe Biden\u2019s nominee for U.S. attorney for Massachusetts for declining to prosecute certain drug offenses and other crimes as a district attorney.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC)<\/span><\/a> authored an op-ed calling on Congress to remove a rider blocking Washington, D.C. from legalizing marijuana sales.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN)<\/span><\/a> tweeted, \u201cNew changes to Minnesota\u2019s medical cannabis program will take effect next year, including providing new edible options \u2013 with required safety messaging and labeling for patients.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>FormerDemocratic presidential candidate <\/span>Andrew Yang<\/span><\/a> tweeted, \u201cTalked to an investor in psilocybin-based compounds as a treatment for depression \u2013 seems very promising.\u201d<\/span>

\n<\/span>The <\/span>Michigan<\/span><\/a> Court of Claims partially granted and partially denied a request for an injunction on regulators\u2019 <\/span>recall<\/span><\/a> of marijuana products.<\/span>
