Nancy Mace (R-SC)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> said her marijuana legalization bill can help to address rising opioid overdose rates. She also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/nancy-mace-cannabis-reform-bill-state-control-republican-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">spoke<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> about using cannabis to treat depression and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/MSNBCW_20211117_160000_Craig_Melvin_Reports\/start\/1140\/end\/1200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reacted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to opposition to her proposal from her home state South Carolina Republican Party.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fee.org\/articles\/republican-congresswoman-introduces-bill-to-end-federal-marijuana-criminalization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> spoke about his support for a new federal marijuana legalization bill.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JayObernolte\/status\/1460758515795046408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-CA)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> tweeted about a new documentary about illegal marijuana cultivation, saying, \u201c@RepMikeGarcia and I have worked to bring in DEA &amp; federal support to help combat this crisis.
