After a decades-long career in late-night television, Conan O\u2019Brien is retiring. And the host is cutting loose, smoking a joint with famed marijuana enthusiast Seth Rogen on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Brien was looking for some advice on what to do with his extra free time, and Rogen gave what he described as a \u201chilariously on brand\u201d recommendation: \u201cTry smoking a lot of weed for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rogen\u2014an actor well-known for his brand of cannabis-centric comedy but also an advocate<\/a> of legalization and owner of the marijuana company Houseplant<\/a>\u2014told the host that \u201cyou seem like someone who doesn\u2019t smoke a lot of weed to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n \u201cI don\u2019t smoke any weed, and that\u2019s not a judgement,\u201d O\u2019Brien said. \u201cIt\u2019s not that I have any problem with people smoking pot\u2014I think it actually seems to be a fine herb. But the couple of times I\u2019ve tried it, nothing really happened\u2026 But I know that you own a weed company so you might be able to tell me, maybe I was smoking the wrong stuff,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t know. What would you want me smoking?\u201d<\/p>\n On cue, Rogen pulled a joint from his shirt pocket. He told the host that if he smoked it, it \u201cwill be a great, weird show.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAre you, as a as a professor of weed, telling me that this is the kind you think I should use?\u201d O\u2019Brien asked.<\/p>\n \u201cI think you should take one hit of that weed, and I think you\u2019ll have a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\n Then, in a moment of late-night TV history, a joint was lit, puffed and passed on the TBS program.<\/p>\n I smoked weed with @ConanOBrien<\/a> his show and was legit terrified that I got him too high haha.
