\n<\/span>The <\/span>California Senate<\/span><\/a> approved a bill to legalize possession of psychedelics like psilocybin, LSD and MDMA. It now heads to the Assembly.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Amazon<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 said it will stop drug testing many workers for marijuana and will also actively lobby Congress to pass a federal legalization bill. The move to treat cannabis \u201cthe same as alcohol use\u201d from one of the U.S.\u2019s largest employers is likely to have a large impact.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Nevada lawmakers<\/span><\/a> sent a bill to legalize marijuana social consumption lounges to the desk of Gov. Steve Sisolak (D).<\/span>

\n<\/span>As <\/span>Connecticut\u2019s House majority leader<\/span><\/a> works to wrap up a marijuana legalization deal in anticipation of a floor vote later this week, progressive lawmakers are withholding commitments until actual language is ready.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A new bipartisan bill from <\/span>Reps. Conor Lamb (D-PA) and Peter Meijer (R-MI)<\/span><\/a> would clarify that Department of Veterans Affairs doctors can discuss state marijuana programs with military veterans\u2014but it wouldn\u2019t let them actually issue recommendations to participate.<\/span>

\n<\/span>A new report from <\/span>Oregon\u2019s Office of Economic Analysis<\/span><\/a> shows that marijuana sales are \u201csetting new records, even as the outlook expected sales to taper somewhat as more entertainment options reopened and employees began to return to the office.\u201d<\/span>
