However, with so many events taking place throughout\u00a0California<\/a>, they can start to feel repetitive and stale, lacking the uniqueness needed to leave guests with a lasting impression.<\/p>\n This saturation has created pressure for event hosts to stand out by providing guests with a more memorable experience, one filled with creativity, food and entertainment, all at a charming location. While the venue is one of the most important parts of a cannabis event, it\u2019s also the most challenging for event hosts to make happen as most venues are not cannabis friendly.<\/p>\n So, how can an event producer do it bigger and better than the rest?\u00a0<\/p>\n Throw a party on a yacht.<\/p>\n Chef\u00a0Rudy<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Cannabis Catered Events<\/a>\u00a0has thrown many events throughout the years. So when faced with the challenge of finding a new location, he thought back to one of his most memorable life experiences: getting married on a yacht.<\/p>\n Smoking cannabis on a yacht used to be a luxury experience only accessible by the rich and famous, so he sought out to make that lifestyle attainable to all. On July 6, with the help of Hustle and Hospitality Club, he launched High Seas, an elevated cannabis dinner and comedy show held on a three-story yacht in Newport Beach.\u00a0<\/p>\n Co-hosted by comedian and former Bong Appetit host\u00a0Abdullah Saeed<\/a>, the evening started with a pre-boarding \u201csmoke hour,\u201d where guests indulged in appetizers, cannabis, and non-alcoholic drinks featuring terpenes by\u00a0True Terpenes<\/a>.<\/p>\n Chef Layla<\/a>\u00a0served bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with smoked gouda and caprese tortellini with the option to add\u00a0CBD<\/a>\u00a0or THC-infused balsamic pesto.\u00a0Once boarding began, High Seas guests were greeted on the first floor with non-infused food by\u00a0Chef Buds<\/a>\u00a0and live painting by artist\u00a0Rube Zilla<\/a>.\u00a0Tikum Olam<\/a>\u00a0and award-winning extract company\u00a0Apex Extractions<\/a>\u00a0were on-site, sampling their products and sharing knowledge with guests. On the second floor, guests enjoyed pre-dinner tunes by DJ\u00a0Joesh Savage<\/a>, while others made their way to the rooftop, where consumption was allowed and encouraged.\u00a0<\/p>\n Dinner was a joint effort, featuring plates by numerous chefs.\u00a0The Hydroponic Chef<\/a>, who recently launched\u00a0CBD Meal Club<\/a>, served CBD jambalaya, CBD mac \u2018n cheese, and non-infused cornbread. Chef Frank of\u00a0Left-handed Infusions<\/a>, who has been making sushi for 15 years, let his expertise and creativity shine with three unique rolls: salmon nigiri, vegan roll made up of fruits, veggies and smoked pineapple sauce, and the \u201ctriple threat\u201d made up of crab, spicy tuna, flamin\u2019 hot Cheetos, eel sauce and citrus habanero sauce. Additionally, chicken, salad and pasta were served, ensuring each guest was well fed throughout the night.<\/p>\n Attention to detail at High Seas was a priority and it showed, as each dining room table featured thoughtfully planned centerpieces, including gold bongs and bottles of infused tea by\u00a0Shane\u2019s Tea<\/a>.<\/p>\n During dinner, guests were treated to a live musical performance by\u00a0Jasmine Rose\u00a0followed by an entertaining lineup of comedians including host of The Healthy Gossip Podcast,\u00a0Krystle Chats,\u00a0Rivest Dunlap,\u00a0Vanessa Johnston<\/a>, and\u00a0Neel Nanda<\/a>\u00a0who has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central and Viceland.\u00a0<\/p>\n In addition to celebrity comedians, there were many notable guests onboard including pro-skaters\u00a0Stevie Williams<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Brandon Biebel<\/a>,\u00a0David Tran\u00a0of Dope magazine, Chef J of\u00a0Baby J\u2019s Burgers<\/a>,\u00a0Daz Dillinger<\/a>,\u00a0Dutchess of Ink<\/a>,\u00a0Harrison\u00a0Baum of\u00a0Daily High Club<\/a>, and\u00a0Grace\u00a0Lahlouh<\/a> of Ganja Gold.\u00a0<\/p>\n After dinner, vibes were high on the rooftop, as guests soaked in the view and indulged in vapes by\u00a0Timeless Vapes<\/a>\u00a0and flower by\u00a0Alien Labs<\/a>. If anyone found themselves too high, CBD flower was on hand thanks to\u00a0Fenix Flowers<\/a>. The night concluded with delicious desserts by\u00a0Chef Susney<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n High Seas left guests elevated and satisfied and has raised the bar for all future cannabis events.
