This year is shaping into a memorable year for Portland-based Cura Cannabis Solutions (Cura). First, the cannabis brand reported $18 million in sales for the first quarter of 2018. Now,\u00a0<\/em>Inc.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>magazine has revealed that Cura ranks No. 45 on its 37th annual Inc. 5000, becoming the first cannabis company to appear in the top 50.<\/p>\n

Best known for its top-selling brands\u00a0Select Oil<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Select CBD<\/a>, Cura is widely respected in the industry for innovative extraction techniques and its focus on setting high standards for quality products.<\/p>\n

Cameron Forni,\u00a0Cura<\/a>\u00a0founder, president and chief executive officer, credits the company\u2019s success to the work of so many people all over the country.<\/p>\n

According to a\u00a0press release<\/a>, the Inc. 5000 list \u201crepresents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy\u2019s most dynamic segment \u2014 young emerging growth companies\u201d and has helped other companies like Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow gain national exposure.<\/p>\n

Forni said he believes Cura\u2019s success would not have been possible without the support of the company\u2019s retailers and customers.<\/p>\n

Cura has seen unprecedented success in the cannabis market since its launch in September 2015.
