L<\/span>overs of situational comedy and satirical political commentary may not seem to have much in common when it comes to their taste in entertainment, but there\u2019s a new series that connects the two groups rather neatly.<\/p>\n Chuck Lorre, the creator of CBS\u2019 hit show \u201cTwo and a Half Men,\u201d and David Javerbaum, a former head writer and executive producer for \u201cThe Daily Show,\u201d have joined forces with Netflix to bring Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates to the screen \u2014 as a stoner who owns a family-run dispensary \u2014\u00a0in their new series \u201cDisjointed<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The show follows the story of Ruth Whitefeather Feldman, played by Bates; a zealous advocate for cannabis legalization.
