A Washington state clothing company has lost its bank account \u2013 even though it doesn\u2019t work with marijuana \u2013 because of the use of hemp in its products.<\/p>\n
Owners of the natural-clothing company Rawganique in Blaine say they were shocked when\u00a0Umpqua Bank \u2013 which is headquartered in Portland, Oregon \u2013 informed them it would no longer work with the company because it\u2019s in a \u201cmarijuana-related industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to The Northern Light newspaper<\/a>, Rawganique\u00a0does not grow hemp nor manufacture hemp products.
