Kate Brown<\/a>\u00a0noting that her state\u2019s legal marijuana businesses haven\u2019t slowed the illicit marijuana market.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions was <a href=\"https:\/\/mjbizdaily.com\/ag-sessions-questions-cannabis-regulatory-efficacy-co-wa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responding to an April letter<\/a> from Brown and the governors of Colorado, Washington state and Alaska that asked the Justice and Treasury departments to maintain the position on cannabis they held under the Obama administration, the Denver Post reported.
